1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website ManMadeSoap.net (the “Site”) or purchasing from Man Made Soap (the “Company,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or make a purchase.
2. Products & Use Disclaimer
- All products (soap bars, deodorants, bath bombs, lotions, etc.) are handcrafted in small batches. Because of natural ingredients and handmade production, appearance, scent, and color may vary slightly from batch to batch.
- Products are intended for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, and discontinue use immediately if skin irritation occurs. Do not ingest.
- The Company makes no medical claims or guarantees. If you have sensitive skin, allergies, or medical conditions (eczema, psoriasis, etc.), consult a licensed physician before use.
3. Pricing, Payment & Orders
- Prices listed on the Site or at events reflect full price unless a discount or coupon is clearly applied. All sales are final at the time of purchase, unless a return or refund is explicitly offered under a separate policy.
- Payment must be made at checkout (online) or at point of sale (in-person events). Until payment is received and confirmed, we are under no obligation to reserve or ship items.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (out-of-stock, suspicion of fraud, shipping limitations, etc.).
4. Shipping & In-Person Sales
- For online orders: shipping costs, delivery estimates, and risks of loss during shipping are described on the Site. Once a package is shipped, the responsibility for safe delivery largely lies with the shipping provider.
- For in-person sales (e.g. markets, fairs): by purchasing at our booth, you acknowledge that you have inspected the product and accept its condition “as is.”
5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
- Because our soaps are personal-care items, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for hygiene reasons.
- If a product arrives damaged or defective (e.g. broken bar), report the issue within 3 days of receipt with a photo — we may, at our discretion, offer a replacement or store credit.
- Claims after this period are not guaranteed.
6. Intellectual Property & Use of Content
- All text, logos, images, soap names, designs and other content on the Site or in our marketing materials are property of Man Made Soap. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
- Purchasers and users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use purchased items for personal, non-commercial use only.
7. Limitation of Liability / Disclaimer of Warranties
- All products are provided “as is,” without any warranty (express or implied). Man Made Soap disclaims all liability for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from use, misuse, or inability to use our products.
- To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances will Man Made Soap be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
8. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We may modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Louisiana, USA.
